'FrontSupport 4.0 (beta) for Exchange / Outlook' Overview

 

What is FrontSupport?

FrontSupport is a windows based customer support / helpdesk software that enables your customer support personnel to store information for your customer support issues and tracks these issues from the time they are reported to the time they are resolved.

In addition to storing and managing your customer support information, FrontSupport integrates the customer support issues with the contact information in your Exchange public contact folder.

 

Who should use FrontSupport? How can my company use FrontSupport with Exchange / Outlook?

If you use the Exchange public contact folder to manage your customer's contact information, how do you track the support issues reported by those customers? FrontSupport solves this problem by storing / tracking this support information while integrating with your customer information in your Exchange public contact folder.  

By linking these support issues with the contact information in your Exchange public contact folder, you can track which contacts reported which support issues.

 

How does FrontSupport integrate with Exchange / Outlook?

When you integrate FrontSupport with your Exchange public contact folder, a link is established into the FrontSupport database (an MS Access database). Using this link, FrontSupport is able to read all the contact information and show that in FrontSupport. In addition, FrontSupport allows you to create and store the support / helpdesk issues reported by these contacts.

By associating these support issues with the contact information, you can track which contacts reported which support issues.

 

What is the history of FrontSupport?

FrontSupport is currently on version 4.0 and has been selling for more than 5 years now. When FrontSupport was first released, it integrated with GoldMine software. A few years later, in addition to GoldMine, FrontSupport also integrated with ACT! software. Both ACT! and GoldMine are leading contact management / sales force automation solutions. Now we have extended FrontSupport to integrate  with Exchange /  Outlook.

 

How much does FrontSupport cost?

Currently 'FrontSupport 4.0 for Exchange / Outlook' is FREE and available for download as a beta. Pricing information will be announced after the beta period.

 

How long is the beta valid for? Is it safe to use the beta version with my Exchange / Outlook data?

'FrontSupport 4.0 for Exchange / Outlook' is currently available for download as a beta. This beta version is fully functional and there are no limitations.

FrontSupport has been selling for more than 5 years now and is being used by hundreds of companies across the world. Given that, FrontSupport has been through the rigors of being used by thousands of users while integrated with ACT! and GoldMine.
